Australian Kart Championship – Ipswich Round

Competing at the Australian Kart Championship in Ipswich was another big step forward in my racing journey. It was an amazing experience to line up against such strong competition and challenge myself on one of Australia’s toughest karting circuits.

Friday Practice
The weekend kicked off with practice, where I focused on learning the track and finding my pace. Each session gave me valuable insights and helped me adapt to the high level of competition.

Saturday Qualifying & Heats
Qualifying and the first heats were tough with fast, challenging conditions. I was slightly off the pace, but each session pushed me to dig deeper, improve my racing lines, and build confidence.

Sunday Racing
By Sunday I had found stronger pace and felt more settled in the kart. Racing from the back of the grid was never easy, but I fought hard for positions and gained valuable racecraft experience along the way. Every lap taught me something new, and I know these learnings will make me stronger for the next round.

Takeaways

This championship was another important milestone for me. While the results weren’t where I hoped, the experience and lessons gained will help me continue to grow as a racer. I’m excited to take what I’ve learned and apply it in future events.

A huge thank you to my Top Gun Karting Academy family, my coaches, and my supporters for all the mentoring and encouragement throughout the weekend. Your guidance makes a huge difference and I’m grateful to have such an amazing team behind me.
